Armenia can sign the political part of the Association Agreement
Poland hopes that in the coming Riga summit of Eastern Partnership, Armenia will clarify its position presenting the possible scope of cooperation with the European Union. This statement was made by Poland’s Ambassador to Armenia Jerzy Marek Nowakowski during a discussion. He did not exclude the fact that Armenia would sign only the political part of the Association Agreement leaving aside the DCFTA, Azatutyun radio station reports.
“Association will allow Armenia to develop not only in terms of its economy, but also in terms of its civic institutions. Poland is a vivid example of this as it first was associated with and only then joined the EU, proving that it gives a positive result,” – Azatutyun quotes Nowakowski’s words.
