“Workshop for the members of the National Commission on Radio and Television on monitoring of broadcasters during election campaigns”

“Workshop for the members of the National Commission on Radio and Television on monitoring of broadcasters during election campaigns” was realized by NGO “European Integration” with the assistance of Council of Europe.

The aim of the  project was to “bring the elections closer” to the common citizen, his daily problems.

Our aim was to promote creation and development of possibilities for a citizen to make objective and natural choice.

Questionnaires were formed to hold interviews with the leaders of political forces.

The results of grades, expert conclusions and interviews were published and  transmitted to partner NGOs, mass media, political forces, analysts, and also to partner structures in marzes (regions).

After the elections certain part of the selected materials (graded provisions, expert conclusions, interviews), were translated into English and published in two languages.

Presentation of the book with the participation of the mass media and structures concerned was organised.

The book was made available to the libraries, political forces, international organizations, Mass media, NGOs, regional structures and partners, Institutions of Higher Education (IHE).

As a result of the project  the wide society had an opportunity to be informed about the approaches and viewpoints belonging to the political forces and individuals participating in the presidential elections and concerning the issues that worry them mostly. This, in its turn, essentially contributed to the opportunities for making a more objective choice.

Publication of the project resulted in a single manual that provided an possibility  to compare promises and real actions afterwards.
