Steinmeier: April War Showed How Perilous Karabakh Conflict Is

During  his opening remarks at the 23rd OSCE Ministerial Council Meeting in Hamburg, Germany, German Minister for Foreign Affairs and Chairman-in-Office  of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), stated that April war showed how perilous Karabakh conflict is.

According to him  the OSCE was concerned about the recent escalation in Karabakh, adding that the negotiations should be carried out to solve the crisis.

“There is a format for mediation in the negotiations in the (Karabakh) conflict — [the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe] Minsk Group and today it is necessary that the process would get a second wind,” Steinmeier said.
