Armenian National Gallery Announces a One-Month Extension of Aivazovsky Exhibition

The National Gallery of Armenia has announced a one-month extension of the “Hovhannes Aivazovsky. Creation” exhibition, the Gallery Facebook page reports. The exhibition is dedicated to the artist’s 200th birth anniversary.

To note, the exhibition features 52 paintings, 26 graphic works, 1 work of the decorative-applied art and 20 documentary materials.

The National Gallery of Armenia has the second largest collection of Aivazovsky’s paintings after Museum of Theodosius in the Crimea.
