SolveNet. Active Participation on the Online Platform
In the framework of the EU-funded project “SolveNet” during this month there was active participation recorded in the Armenian online citizen engagement platform in terms of the raised problems and suggested solutions by the citizens. The problems raised on the platform refer to the poor condition of Sevan Cultural House, the absence of communal facilities for
Artsvaberd schoolchildren, the garbage on sideways near Aparan, the absence of entertainment areas in Goris, the waste management in farther suburbs of Kapan and so on.
Also, there was active participation recorded by the coordinating organizations of the platform who prepared policy papers on the problems they administer and sent them to corresponding target institutions. Namely, “Veradardz” Youth Civic Movement NGO, one of the local administrating organizations in Syunik region, prepared and sent a policy paper on the waste management problem in farther suburbs of Kapan to the city mayor. On receiving a feedback from the mayor it will be posted online on the platform.
To find out more on all the developments regarding the solutions to the raised problems and “further fate” of the policy papers prepared by other coordinating organizations of the platform and sent out to corresponding target institutions you can visit the Armenian citizen engagement platform on http://armenia.public-policies.eu/.
