International Children’s Day

“Without my children tomorrow would not be worth the wait, and yesterday would not been worth remembering.”

“Children are the hands by which we take hold of haven.”

“A child had special way of adding jot to everyday.”

These and million other sayings can be found in the Internet to praise the children all over the world.

June 1 is celebrated as a Children’s Day in many countries of the world . The World Conference for the Well-being of Children in Geneva, Switzerland, proclaimed June 1 to be International Children’s Day in 1925. The day is used to bring awareness to children around the globe that have succumbed to violence in forms of abuse, exploitation and discrimination.

Thus let’s use the day to raise our voice against children’s right violations all over the world and make sure that the rights of children are protected in our country.
