Armenia: Training for CSOs on the EU

Last week the training “Update of the European Neighborhood Policy: Opportunities for the EaP, Particularly for Armenia” took place in which representatives of CSOs from Yerevan and other regions of Armenia participated.

The Chairman of NGO “European Integration” Karen Bekaryan, who was conducting the training, referred to the process of the creation of the EU and the roots of its development, mentioning that it is important to know this for better understanding the current processes inside the EU. Talking about the European Neighborhood Policy and Eastern Partnership, Bekaryan mentioned their positive and negative sides.

More attention was paid and the discussion went on mainly on the EU-Armenia relations, their current stage, expectations and the perspectives of the development of these relations.

It should be mentioned that this training was implemented in the framework of the project “Civil Society: Dialogue for Progress”
