THE GERMANS GET THE LONGEST REST IN EU

German citizens get the longest holidays among other EU countries. Each German worker gets average 30 non-working days per year.

Moreover, Germany also leads the “nomination” for having 10 additional non-working days which, by the way, are payable. This is a record index in EU. If we add holiday and non-working days in Germany then we end up with 40 off-days.

We should mention that average holidays in Europe constitute 25 days to which 10 additional non-working days apply. So, EU citizens get 35 day-offs.
